Houston Branding Photoshoot: Meet Rachel, a BCBA Wearing Many Hats
When Rachel Callahan searched "Houston branding photoshoot" on Google, she wasn't just looking for headshots. She was looking for a way to show the world everything she does. And that search led her all the way from Pearland to me in Spring, TX. (Yes, she drove across the whole metro area for this one, and I am so glad she did!)
Rachel is a board certified behavior analyst, but that title barely scratches the surface of her work. She spends her days supporting adults with autism, working in behavioral gerontology, coaching clients through exercise and nutrition as a personal trainer, and building continuing education courses to help other BCBAs practice outside of traditional autism intervention. She's also raising a family and somehow finding time to launch digital products on the side. That's a lot of hats for one branding session, so that's exactly how we planned it.
Instead of trying to capture "one look" for Rachel, we split our two hours into segments, one for each side of her business. Polished shots for her BCBA and educator work, energetic gym shots for her personal training brand, and warm, candid moments for the relationship-driven side of her practice. She walked away with months of content covering every part of what she does, instead of just a handful of photos. And since Rachel is famous with her clients for her ever-present Diet Dr Pepper, we made sure it made a cameo in a few shots too. It's the little details like that are what make a brand feel like you.
It was a fast-paced, fun shoot from start to finish, and it says everything about Rachel that she brought that same energy to every single segment.
