What to expect

With over 16 years experience photographing weddings in the greater houston area

Many of the brides who gravitate toward me are drawn to a classic, timeless style for their wedding day. They value clean, crisp, and true-to-color portraiture. I’m meticulous with details and deeply committed to creating images that are both technically beautiful and rooted in a thoughtful, enjoyable client experience.
From the start, I help structure your day to ensure your portrait time is seamless and stress-free, because it is your wedding day, and you should savor every moment of it.
Some of my favorite compliments come from grooms who tell me they had fun during the engagement session and felt completely at ease on the wedding day. Most brides expect to feel this way - but winning over the groom? That’s a special kind of badge of honor I wear proudly. My goal is always the same: that everyone, from bride to groom to family, enjoys the experience as much as the photographs themselves.

Frequently Asked QUESTIONS

  • I’ve been a full-time wedding and portrait photographer for over 16 years, capturing hundreds of weddings and thousands of portrait sessions. In addition to my extensive experience, I hold a BFA in Photography from Sam Houston State University.

Throughout my career, I’ve photographed weddings at many of Houston’s finest venues - everything from grand Catholic churches and downtown ballrooms to all-inclusive venues, intimate backyards, sandy beaches, rustic barns, charming chapels, and elegant country clubs.

  • My experience far surpasses natural light settings. I have been professionally trained in OCF (Off Camera Flash) and am very comfortable in all types of lighting scenarios. Dimly lit churches with photography restrictions or candle-lit ballrooms don’t get me in a frenzy. In fact, the ever changing environments is one of the aspects of the job that I love most.

  • Yes! You’ll receive a suggested photography timeline tailored to your wedding day. We always factor in the sunset time and structure the schedule to showcase the moments most important to you. If you’re working with a coordinator, we’ll collaborate with them to ensure our timelines align seamlessly.

  • Yes! We work with a wide range of talented florists, hair and makeup artists, bakers, DJs, videographers, and more. We’re always happy to share recommendations for some of our favorite professionals in the industry.

  • Undoubtedly one of the most asked questions! While I have many favorite spots, choosing the right one for you starts with a short questionnaire about your style and personality. Your answers will help us find the perfect backdrop for your session. Keep in mind, many wedding venues include a portrait session in their package - something to consider for your engagement or bridal portraits.

  • After editing for the best images, you will usually end up with somewhere around 600-750 images for a standard 8 hour wedding. The amount of images rely greatly on the amount of coverage, ceremony shooting restrictions, etc. (But don’t worry… we won't leave out any of the good stuff!)
