A Personal Branding Session for a Photographer Who Understands the Power of Brand

Meeting Laura last year was a highlight - not only did she capture my branding images beautifully for my new site, but I was also honored to photograph her branding images.

Laura is someone I deeply admire for her clarity of vision and thoughtful business strategy. She knows exactly what she wants, and her marketing reflects that - clear, consistent, and intentional. It was immediately obvious that she understands the bigger picture and the why behind personal branding photography. In many ways, she’s also been like a business coach for me, helping me refine my own marketing approach and hone in on the strategies that are most effective.

She came prepared - and that’s an understatement. Every detail of her session was thoughtfully planned, guided by her marketing expertise and a strong understanding of how branding images support long-term business growth. That level of intention made the entire process efficient and genuinely fun.

We captured her session in two distinct spaces that showed different sides of her business. The first focused on Laura in her element - working with headshot clients, collaborating on wardrobe selection, and capturing behind-the-scenes moments that show how she helps her clients feel confident and prepared. The second took a more lifestyle-driven approach, documenting the quieter moments of her workday: editing, marketing, and even celebrating bookings - the real, often unseen parts of running a photography business.

This session is a great example of how strategic preparation and a clear brand vision allow branding images to tell a story that feels both authentic and purposeful.
